If you are experiencing any problems with your ears, Dr Gerrit Viljoen can assist you. He treats conditions such as infections, hearing loss, dizziness, and ringing or buzzing in your ears (tinnitus).
Common ear condition include swimmer’s ear which is an outer ear infection due to damp conditions. Surfer’s ear is bony exostoses in the ear canal due to cold water exposure.
Recurrent infections in the ear may lead to eardrum perforations which can be diagnosed by a microscope in Dr Viljoen’s rooms. This can be managed with microscope or endoscope assisted surgical repair.
